School's ended. Summer is still going. It seems weird you know. how the last year has just flown by. But summer? It lingers. The calm of it. But its just a breeze in the storm of life. When we look at ourselves in the mirror each time your at the end of a school, a path, we seem so old. But then we move to anyother place. And we are the young kids again. and when we look at the people who took our places. We see them as such little kids. Sometimes when I look at my life, I glance at every part of it where there were chances to do something big. And I look at myself and ask what am I good at? Singing? barely. Drawing? I'm ok. And I look at ways to fit in... how I can be different. But if you're different in myschool, you don't fit in. and if you fit in. You are a clone. So this summer, I examined my self, my life and relized. School is just a bump in my life. Yes, I'd love to be popular but, I don't want it to be that I'm so scared to face people in the ten year renuion and be ashamed of who I was.
So I decided. I want to be me. Not that label. I don't want to be "Preppy" "Scene" "Goth" "Wannabe" I want to dress how I want to because I can. and it suits me. ha Believe me, I've done that just to be liked. and it turned out it made me hated. So this year. I will be different to people yes. But I am not. I am gonna be me. That girl who wears the clothes because they look good on her, and suit who she is. Not because I want to fit in.
